Munikumaran, a young sage, lives contentedly in the forest, blissfully unaware of any world beyond its boundaries. The forest, filled with animals and birds, is his peaceful home, where he observes a strict vow of celibacy and devotion. However, his disciplined life is soon challenged when a devadasi, a temple dancer, enters his world.
